My friend has just bought her first house. I don't have heaps of money, to get her a gift of huge value. However, I've been thinking about making a basket of things that will come in handy. And make a poem, or list that goes with it. I thought I could get things, that have certain meaning. Like a tin of fly spray and have a note on it "so your home is always bug free" and a can of air freshner with a note on it "so your home is always smelling nice" a box of matches with a note on it "so your home is always warm". Just random things, that will come in handy and have meaning. Can anyone think of anymore? I'd like the notes to start with "so your home is..."

that's really a nice idea... you could give her a candle or a relaxation CD and say "so your home always feels comfey" a little plant so her home always has life a night light so her home always feels safe
