She's turning 14 soon and I have no idea what to get her! She likes clothes, but isn't a girly-girl. She's not that into makeup, and please don't say gift cards because those aren't fun. I've been thinking about a basket, I did a basket all about peppermint for another friend and was thinking about doing another, but I don't know any good themes! I don't just want to get her clothes, so ideas please!

ok one really good idea i have done with some of my friends is this: you go to a local michaels or some type of craft place and buy one of those big letters that your friends name starts with...like if her name is megan you would get one of those big letter Ms. now you paint it whatever fun color you like. ok here is the fun/ the most challenging part. you buy some ModgePodge...the regular clear kind... and paint it all over the letter. btw make sure all the paint is always dry before you paint. ok next buy some really cool papers.. you know the kinds that have really cool designs on them. you can buy cool kinda like photo album papers with cool designs on them. buy about 4 or 5 different kinds. ok now, after you have put ModgePodge on the letter, tear pieces out of the paper, fairly good sizes but not that big, and put them on the letter. tear pieces from all the different papers you bought and put them all over in different places on the letter. after you have filled the letter up with scraps of the different papers, put another coat of ModgePodge on the top for a glossy layer. hope this helped/ works! i did it for a couple of my friends and they love them and have them on their walls! good luck
