i feel so stupid i won a raffle at work and won a valentines day basket whith like lotion and whine glasses and candles and stuff in it i was talking to another employe afterword and told her i felt bad for winning it which i did cuzz i know other ppl wanted it,and i told the othe employee i was thinking about just opening it and letting everyone have what the wanted to out of the basket just to like share ya know so i didnt seem so selfish. well one of my bosses herd me say this and told me i better take the basket home for me and my hunny to use shed be really mad at me. i told her ok ill take it home i promise but i cant say what i do with it afterward then i told her i was just kidding about the afterward part ..........i think she thought i was ungratfull for reciving the gift ...how does this sound to you ? does it sound like im ungreatfull or does it sound like i was just being thoughfull of the other employees to want to share my winnings with them?or am i just crazy?

it sounds like you were trying to be thoughtful but your boss wanted you to take it home. so as long as you did that it's all good don't worry about it. I found that when ppl are nervous they say a lot of things without thinking. so if you get nervous like that try not talking as much and see how that works for ya.
