On December 18, I am going to be giving out about 150 Milk Chocolate Hershey's Bars to friends for Christmas at school. It's my way of sharing the Christmas love without having to spend too much. The past two years, I've bought the cars two days or so before I give them out. This year, I am buying more actual gifts (like giftcards and such), so I want to get the Hershey Bars (I buy the 6 packs) bought and out of the way so I can see how much more I need for close friends. My question is: does it matter when I buy them? Aren't they vacuumed sealed? Won't they be fine in 19 days or so? Plus, won't it be OK to leave them outside on the top of my refrigerator? Or even inside? They will either be sitting in Target or sitting in my house. Is there a difference? Basically: 1. Would anything regarding the quality of the Hershey Bars happen if I bought them now? 2. Should I keep them in the refrigerator or on top? I ask number two because we still have a basket of candy left from Halloween, and there are the mini Hershey bars and they've been sitting in my kitchen and I feel they taste awesome when I eat them a month later.

they should last far longer than 19 odd days, so i say go ahead and buy them early if it make it easier for you. and 2, shouldn't matter really unless where u leave them is quite hot, in which case in the fridge they must go, if unsure play it safe and stick em in the fridge anyway it won't harm them any
